Important: All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval of refunds is at the sole discretion of ByondX Technologies.

By making a purchase from ByondX Technologies, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

For custom service agreements, specific refund terms may be outlined in the individual contract. Those terms will take precedence over this general policy.

Digital Products Refund Policy

Our digital products include software, templates, digital downloads, and online courses. Refunds for digital products are subject to the following conditions:

Refund Eligibility

  • 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Most digital products come with a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase
  • Technical Issues: Refunds are granted if the product is fundamentally unusable due to technical issues we cannot resolve
  • Misrepresentation: Refunds may be granted if the product was significantly misrepresented

Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Change of mind after downloading or accessing the product
  • Failure to meet your specific requirements that weren't promised
  • Inability to use the product due to lack of technical knowledge
  • Products purchased during a sale or promotion (unless otherwise specified)

Custom Services Refund Policy

Custom services include web development, AI solutions, graphic design, and other bespoke services tailored to your specific needs.

Deposit Policy

Most custom services require a deposit before work begins. Deposit amounts and terms are as follows:

  • Standard Projects: 50% deposit required to commence work
  • Large Projects: May require phased payments (25%-50% upfront)
  • Emergency/Rush Projects: 100% payment may be required upfront

Scope Changes

If you request significant changes to the project scope after work has begun, the original deposit may be forfeited, and a new agreement will need to be established.

Subscription Services Refund Policy

Subscription services include monthly retainers, SaaS products, and ongoing service agreements.

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds: No refunds for partial months. Service continues until the end of the billing cycle
  • Annual Subscriptions: Pro-rated refunds may be available for annual plans cancelled mid-term

Trial Periods

  • Free Trials: No payment required during trial period
  • Paid Trials: Refundable within the first 7 days if not satisfied
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscription automatically renews after trial unless cancelled

Auto-Renewal Notice

We send reminder emails 7 days before your subscription renews. It's your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you don't wish to continue.

Cancellation Process

  1. Log into your account and navigate to Subscription Settings
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm cancellation
  4. You'll receive a confirmation email

Consultation & Coaching Refund Policy

Consultation services include strategy sessions, coaching calls, and advisory services.

Single Consultation Sessions

  • Cancellation 48+ hours before session: Full refund or reschedule
  • Cancellation 24-48 hours before session: 50% refund or reschedule
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before session: No refund, reschedule at our discretion
  • No-show without notice: No refund, no reschedule

Consultation Packages

For packages of multiple sessions (e.g., 5-session coaching package):

  • Unused sessions: Pro-rated refund for unused sessions
  • Used sessions: No refund for sessions already completed
  • Package expiration: Sessions expire as outlined in the agreement

We understand emergencies happen. In case of genuine emergencies, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling options.

Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following items and services are generally non-refundable:

Always Non-Refundable

  • Custom development work already completed
  • Third-party costs (domain registrations, hosting fees, stock assets, API costs)
  • Services already rendered (hours worked, consultations completed)
  • Digital products that have been downloaded or accessed
  • Setup/installation fees
  • Gift cards and promotional credits

Situations Where Refunds Are Not Granted

  • Change of mind or circumstance
  • Failure to read product/service description before purchase
  • Inability to use the product/service due to lack of technical knowledge
  • Products/services purchased during special promotions or sales (unless stated otherwise)
  • Violation of our Terms of Service

Third-Party Products

For products or services we resell from third parties (themes, plugins, etc.), refunds are subject to the original provider's refund policy.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow this process:

Step 1: Contact Support

  1. Email refunds@byondx.com with your refund request
  2. Include your order number, purchase date, and product/service name
  3. Clearly explain the reason for your refund request
  4. Provide any relevant supporting documentation

Step 2: Review Process

  • We'll acknowledge your request within 24 business hours
  • Our team will review your request against our refund policy
  • We may request additional information or clarification
  • Review typically takes 3-5 business days

Step 3: Decision & Processing

  • If approved: We'll process your refund within 5-10 business days
  • If denied: We'll provide a clear explanation for the denial
  • You'll receive email confirmation at each stage

Before requesting a refund, consider if we can resolve your issue another way. We're often able to fix problems, offer alternatives, or provide additional support.

Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, processing times vary based on payment method:

Important Notes

  • All processing times are business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays)
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible
  • If the original payment method is unavailable, we may issue store credit
  • Currency conversion fees are not refundable
  • We are not responsible for additional bank fees or charges

Store Credit Option

In some cases, we may offer store credit as an alternative to a cash refund. Store credit never expires and can be used for any of our products or services.

Refund Disputes & Chargebacks

If you're unsatisfied with our refund decision, here are your options:

Appeal Process

  1. Request Review: Email appeals@byondx.com with additional information
  2. Manager Review: Your case will be reviewed by a senior manager
  3. Final Decision: You'll receive our final decision within 5 business days

Chargeback Policy

We strongly discourage chargebacks. Instead, please work with us directly to resolve any issues. If you initiate a chargeback:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • All services will be paused
  • We will provide evidence to the payment processor showing our refund policy and any work completed
  • If the chargeback is found in our favor, you'll be responsible for any associated fees
  • Future purchases may require prepayment or different payment terms

We're always willing to work with customers to find a fair solution. Chargebacks should be a last resort after exhausting all other options with our support team.

Legal Recourse

If you believe our refund decision violates consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, you may have legal recourse through:

  • Consumer protection agencies in your country/state
  • Small claims court for amounts within their jurisdiction
  • Alternative dispute resolution as outlined in our Terms of Service
